Oh, I would put them more in the realm of annoying rather than boring, but they really were pretty good as a club band for a few years before they got signed. Even did most of the same songs that were on the first album, but they had a cool garagey-grunge feel that got completely lost in the big dumb alternative production.

Have you ever listened to Jar of Flies? I used to like them years ago but Jar of Flies is the only thing that I would listen to again at some point. It's got some really good chilled out songs for me.
