Yes, that sounds reasonable, altough it doesn't necessarily have to be true in reality. With my previous girlfriend, for instance, it became quite boring after like, say, 3 years, although we were on exactly the same wavelenght with each other. It just was not fun anymore (at least for me it wasn't).
