It is probably because this forum is mostly rubbish when it comes to chatting about music. You have all this carachters who post a lot but rarely give an indication of either some sort of musical experience they have/have had and end up using it solely as a venting platform for their personal problems which aren't any more or less worth of simpathy than anyone else's.The fact that Sonic Youth themselves have morphed into a musical entity less attentive about their 'official' output and more intent into channeling their creativity into several projects is an indication of a fanbase that is not always responsive to things like that(myself included, for a while). With music as with anything else,it doesn't pay being ignorant because ultimately it transpires one way or another. There are a trillion things i could think chatting about on an internet forum while having dinner and going about daily tasks but it seems that stimulation of the brain is barred from making itself known on the internet. To excuse this with the myriad excuses one would try to find in their daily life is pathetic as much as counterproductive. For the time being i'll stick to reading what might be of some interest to me personally and ignore what it's not.do the the same and try to have a good life while you can.
