There's warmth to Forman's pictures - Danny DeVito in Man on the Moon - which is another one I liked a lot. And if my recollections are not biased, there are some cool moments among the patients of the Cuckoo's Nest.

well we don't have any good movies nowadays at all.. it's still the same "typical czech tragicomedy" shit. nothing special. well and forman isn't a czech director.. he lives abroad. he hasn't had nothing to do with our culture for a long time. havel influenced our culture (especially alternative culture) very much in lots of ways and i'm really grateful to him for that.. i like him.
i've just seen the new forman's movie - the goya's ghosts and i'm pretty confused. i didn't like it much. the story seems really boring to me.
