I'm a Chelsea fan, I have been since about 1975. I didn't start going to matches regularly until about 1992 though, at which point we were still crap.
I quite miss the days when we were crap, actually. As nice as it is to see trophies being lifted, I miss the feeling of being thrilled to see us winning a match, rather than disappointed when we don't. Our football was much more enjoyable to watch in the mid-90s too, not machine-like in the way that it is now.
Favourite ever player: Gianfranco Zola - how could it be anyone else?
