Thats my feeling, I dont find many people who aren't cool on this board. I find Sonic Youth fans to be very intellegent people (for the most part). Which means we can have intellegent debates about matters and explain our views without resorting to pettyness. Throughout most of the internet rhetoric usually goes no further than "it sucks", "fuck off" and "yr gay".
Plus one can be dry and sacrastic here and it will automatically be taken in the spirit it was meant...its a relief not to have to say 'lol' after everything to indicate to idiots it was a joke.
