Actually, yes, I had (even if with "private" lessons and not in a proper school).
And I still love using my Nikon F with that bulky Formula 5 85-210mm, but that does not prevent me from loving digital shots. Obviously I don't like "fake" pics (if you know what I mean), but I think that a digital pictures can convey feelings/interest/passion as much as "chemical" pics do. They are not the same thing, but making a "analog=art digital=crap" equation is plain wrong to me. Will you stop going to see movies when directors will use digital equipment and post-production?
edit: again, like yesterday "talking" about lynch movies with Rob Instigator, I find it really hard to express my thoughts in english, sorry...
