This reminds me of somebody I knew a few years ago who wore t-shirts "ironically". I had a purple Ordnance Survey t-shirt that I got at work, and he bought it from me.
When I questioned whether he really wanted to wear it he said, "yes, it's ironic". I thought people would just think he was some geek who worked for Ordnance Survey.
Strange that some people put so much thought into these things.
And all the band t-shirts you see in High Street shops, especially ones for children.
