Couldn't you imagine this kid to become a seriously fucked-off teenager with a weapon? And then meeting these guys again? Do you think they (the professional US soldiers) would consider how their actions had led them to the ensuing consequences? Would they cry for their 'god' or their 'country'? Would they ask their adversary for the 'mercy' that they offered?
