i'm a lefty so it's kind of hard to get hold of stuff like that, the whole jag vs. jazzy thing is kind of silly, i like them both for different reasons, i like shortscalers but the jazzy can stand its ground a little bit better soundwise, my opinion, if you're going for a nice US RI like that you can't just plug it in to a crappy amp, agreed
personally i don't think the differences between a cij and mia reissue are worth the extra money, unless you can get it secondhand or, as mentioned before... outside this crap place where you pay more than double for a US one
also the service of fender (US) is very crappy over here, belgium is part of the uk fender headquarters
, so we kind of get all the scraps, i waited about a year for my american precision bass (lefty) whilst it only took two weeks to get my cij '69 mustang here after i ordered it.
i guess that, at some point, like when i've finished my studies and stuffs i would def. save up for 'the real deal' but it's not a must, the cij's ar just fine for the money i think
