ha ha not exactly. took a class someyears ago but had to drop out because of overload; & also took a course in brazilian lit in grad school (read translations mostly but read in portuguese w/ a dictionary). i speak spanish actually so it's sort of easy to figure out for me-- english is 2nd lang.
