I was there for a Sonic Youth/The Jesus Lizard show...hehe.

Um, I was at the inaugural show for the 40 Watt's (Athens, GA) current location (which has proven to be its most permanent location), so maybe that will qualify.
I also went to many shows at two of the other previous incarnations of that club.

The very first show at the 40 Watt's Washington St. address in the revamped Potter's House Flea Market building in Athens was Hovercraft/My Bloody Valentine/Dinosaur, Jr.
To this day, many people still maintain it was the loudest show that they have ever attended.
