She's always done lots of covers on her albums in the past. And most of not all of the tracks on Twelve are covers she's done live over the years and just has never included on an album.
If I would have peeped Twelve's tracklist beforehand, I might have guessed that she'd do "Gimmie Shelter" in a clean-blues roadhouse styl tonight. It was a good version. Of course, the original is one of rock 'n' roll's greatest tunes, so to even attempt it takes brass balls.
