I was at this special thing tonight, doing lots of singing. Splendid fun. I mention this because the whole jamboree was lead by a conductor type chap. I was surprised at how much following his frenetic arm movements actually helped a great deal, and I now appreciate the role of a conductor rather more than I did previously.
