I'm only telling you this because a lot of times i read: "listen to this cd, he's playing arabic scales! wow", "he's been inflenced by Indian,blablalba music". Don't get me wrong, he's awesome, his modified banjo is great, but the only thing that dictates his sound is the instrument and not him.

Right... anybody could pick up a modified banjo and sound just like Paul Metzger...
Just like how anybody who picks up a guitar sounds just like Hendrix or a trumpet Miles Davis...
