Yeah. Hm. I'm thinking I should have ignored this thread.
Last fall, Against The Grain was driving through Nebraska from Colorado en route to Canada (more on that in a moment). He sent a private message my way asking about what sort of traffic to expect while driving through Lincoln, Nebraska on a college football Saturday (which is notoriously awful; we're obsessed in this state). Anyway, I asked what was going on in Canada, and he told me he was meeting a significantly younger girl at the border to bring back with him. He later told me there was a dispute involving the border police as he was trying to leave Canada with a underage girl. There was also a bit about being kicked off a Led Zeppelin message board because of the relationship with this girl.
This all didn't sit well with me at the time (which prompted me to ignore subsequent messages about that from him), and I more or less took it as being bullshit, creepy bullshit at that. I thought about posting something about it at the time. Now, it seems much too real. And still creepy.
Just the sad facts folks.
