the independent is as idiotic as any tabloid, their headlines are just as sensationalist. at least the sun is fucking hilarious.
anyway, i agree with tony blair on this point, the newspapers in this country are appaling, whether it's the guardian, the telegraph, the mail, the times or the mirror and the sun. this is not to say that the government are any good, just that it's high time that the media got taken down a peg or two, they weald far to much power, lack any shred of integrity, will print anything if they think they'll sell more, and are most journalists are utter morons.
