I have these symptoms, but I swear it's not out of a desire to be "cool".
coolness is something that has to be given and can't just be claimed. it's hard to maintain people's opinions about you when you just don't really care....
please don't get me wrong, I try to attempt a friendly "interested" demeanor, but if somebody doesn't like me (or I consider them an ass), it's
really easy for me to write them off.
