The Valentines are one of those bands that treat lyrics more as a sonic, rather than literary tool. Similar to the Cocteau Twins or - to an even more explicite degree - Sigur Ros. There's very little worth deciphering in their lyrics beyond the fact that they're largely preoccupied with typically blissed out imagery.
