waiting outside for the noise against fascism gig, dc '05, i was talking with
this dude from boston who came as a show of anti-bush support. we had
been yakking for a few minutes when--
him: "what do you do for a living?"
me: "i work in real estate."
him: "oh...child labor, huh?"
and he just walked away. like i had just said something so
obviously horrendous as to render me persona non grata in his eyes.
real estate=child labor?? someone fucking explain that!
