he definitely is idealizing them and he's stuck on this being "dark" thing that's really a waste of his time, because he isn't self absorbed enough to be like that. i could easily keep letting him deal with these girls, but i've seen him teeter on alcoholism as a result of the depression he faces from letting them drag him through the dirt.
