same here, but i think it's really helpful to have a machine that can access the internet whenever, not just when i have time to sit down and pop out my powerbook (which, because of the casing, doesn't pick up signal as well as my ibook...which has a dead battery). i've been getting back aches as a result of carrying the thing around so much, not to mention how much of a liability it is to carry my instrument around the cities i go to. that's my reasoning for getting one.
