When I went to NY the metro was full of people who said they had been sucessful in the past, but some of them were short of an arm of things like that. Whether their stories were true or not there seems to be no support for people who've been in such accidents. You never see things like that in London, and its far more difficult to be actually booted out on the street.
For the most developed nation in the world, its a disgrace.
