Yeah, people drive atrociously. Our cab driver was like that in Naples. I thought I was gonna die.
But yeah with the greeks- "when is the next boat back to mykonos coming?" "10-15 minutes" "we have to be back at 1, when does it leave?" "just wait, boat coming in 10-15 minutes"
40 minutes later the boat hadn't come yet and we were bribing our way onto a tourboat that was leaving for mykonos.
In athens nobody at the metro could tell me how often the metro to piraeus left, and so I left a few hours early just incase.
