This song came on at work today, whilst there was nothing going on. Standing there all alone, I realized for the first time that this song by Berlin is probably the creepiest "love song" I have ever heard.

As it faintly poured out of our overhead speakers, I kid you not, I got shivers. I guess I'm just used to the god-awful, sugar-sweet Jessica Simpson cover being overplayed.

Anyway the point is, that the original version of the song by Moroder and Berlin gives me the willies. The simple synth line combined with her vocal delivery is very odd I feel. I have a newfound respect for it I believe.

Does anyone know if this was supposed to be the goal all along?
