I think a straight up movie about a fictional shoegaze band would be more entertaining. The shoegaze spinal tap so to speak.
Or a nonfictional one. Imagine a movie about MBV made by Michel Gondry. Or a movie about the Jesus and Mary Chain in sort of a Trainspotting style.
