does anyone else love glitch? I love glitch music, glitch art, glitched video games, cut-up text (which is, in a way, a form of glitch).. and I'm not sure why... I've been trying to figure out for years what is so appealing about glitch. It's not just aesthetically pleasing, I don't think... the whole idea of "beautiful things fucking up" is not necassarily something that appeals to me 100%, since I much prefer order and cleanliness to messiness.. but yeah.. glitch!... I have often incorporated glitch in my artwork and music without even really thinking about it... I worship the glitch.

So, this is a glitch appreciation thread!

The idea of scratching up my CD's and ripping them to hear the glitched output has always interested me and is something I've done many times... I remember playing old NES games and they would start glitching and I'd play them anyway; one time ,Metroid glitched forever and random walls/enemies would pop up out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly... and the first time I ever robo tripped, I had Oval's 94 Diskont on repeat the whole time... the first time i EVER tripped, i had this massive glitch-trip.. it was fucking insane... and beautiful.

Yeah.
