Yeah, I owned a BSR in the 70s that played fast as a normal thing. I didn't realize until years later that I'd been listening to all my records essentially wrong. I noticed it one day when I sort of recognized a song on the radio and thought, oh, I like the slower version, and then realized it was actually the same version.
