Backon topic about Lost in Translation

NIT PICK MOMENT!!

So the scene where with the actress and Scarlett and her boyfriend. The actress says
"I'm under the name Evelyn Waugh"
"...Evelyn Waugh was a man..."

Isn't their two ways to pronouce the name EvelynnEv-u-lyn and Eve-lyn Ev-u-lyn for a girl and the other for a guy? Ok then their's the fact that Evelyn Waugh the writer had a wife named...Evelyn! So the actress was right all along to be under the pseudonym of Evelyn (the female named version) and she wasn't so dumb to be named that.
