It is a rip-off if you're selling used items for brand new prices, whether I myself choose to purchase them or not. And then you get the 'trendy' kids spending all their parents cash, or perhaps they have a monotonous day job themselves, and spend silly prices on used clothing because they are ignorant as to where they can get the same clothes at the appropriate prices. And then it goes in circles. The poor remain poor and the rich (or well off, not poor) get richer.

you dont seem to understand supply and demand and seem to assume that things have a "real" price determined by some absolute entity. there is no such thing. a price is an agreement.
