The seattle monorail is more for pleasure than anything else. It will take you from the seattle center to a mall near Macy's, downtown. Most of Seattle's sights are within walking distance of eachother.. except maybe the Zoo, which you'll have to take the bus to. I was in Seattle for a week with a hire car and we didn't use the car once.
Also a walking-friendly city is Denver. Just about everything interesting in Denver is off 16th street, which has free shuttles running up and down all day.
