i never did drugs unitl AFTER i graduated high school (well, i snorted ritalin a couple times, drank once, and smoked pot twice because my GF's mom sold it and she offered it to me, and i felt like if i didnt smoke it she may think i have a problem with it and as a result assume i have a problem with her...yeah that was stupid)

but back on topic:...i chose to not do drugs in HS because so many people already assumed i did, just because i was "different". i was totally sterotyped because i was that freaky kid in the back of the class that was either being a smart ass or not saying anything to anyone for days on end...i musta been on something, right? haha. just small town/small minded people stereotyping. it happens, whatever. also i chose to not to em because i didnt like the people (people i was associated with, because we "dressed kinda the same") that did do them. they were just annoying and based part of their individuality off the fact that they did drugs.

after i graduated i got a bit curious, once i had my own place etc etc. so me and some friends that i did like (a couple other people that were more or less in the same boat as me in HS) decided to expirement a bit. i dont regret it. im sure ill do more stuff at some point in my life.

your story sounds so similar to mine. Everything you said is the same for me except moving out of home. Was weird reading that
