I've been talking to one of the research monitors that come to, well, monitor our research.
I've always suspected that she might be cool (because she always wears all black....and I'm a sucker for that).
I'm not sure why, but I was mentioning to a coworker about meeting Gibby in NYC (mostly because I relish saying "Butthole Surfers" to squares).
she looked around the cubicle and said "HEY! my husband's good friends with Gibby!". turns out he's in a band called Warlock Pinchers (famous around my house for the song Morrissey Rides a Cockhorse).
she's a lot cooler than even the all-black awards her.
