Saw No Age at the Delta of Venus last night. In the five other times I've seen 'em, I always thought they were pretty good, but kind of a letdown compared to the awesomeness of the best Wives shows I ever saw. However, last night was the best No Age show by far. More seamless in execution of the atmospheric interludes and the rockingness, yet still very fun and friendly.

The album's pretty good, but I think could be improved by different sequencing. That's usually a minor quibble, but with a band as dichotomous as this between ambient and rocking, it's rather important.

They just recorded early yesterday and the day before with Zach Hill. They seemed really excited about that. I bet it will be great.
