I just received a letter from my kid's High School informing me that represenatives from the various military branches are requesting names, birth dates, phone #'s, etc. for juniors and seniors. There is a form to opt out of this so it's not going to send me over the edge but it's the reason they have the 'right' to this info that surprised me. Under the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND LAW the school district is compelled to hand over the info! WTF? These are professional con artists, I don't think they should be allowed access to 16 and 17 year-old kids, it just has a bad feel about it. Not all teens are gullable but some will fall for the sales pitch and end up tending to KBR's bottom line in the name of patriotism. What do you think?
