Fugazi singer Ian MacKaye has been forced to deny rumours that he had died in a car crash.
American music websites reported of MacKaye's death on Tuesday, which spread to his Wikipedia entry and local paper The Baltimore Sun.
It's believed the rumour was started by someone who claimed MacKaye, 45, had died in a car crash after a Fugazi gig - even though they last played in 2000.
