Marketing types employ pscyhologists to appeal to all levels in the sexual demographic, that's why you see viagra and cymbalta commercials all the time, aging boomers have disposable cash. Young people have the most money to blow and sex is used to sell them everything. The more taboos that fall the more advertisers will take advantage, that's why we seem saturated. But in America we aren't saturated, in Europe they're saturated but nobody pays it any mind because they're used to it. Janet Jackson's niple? We must have been the laughing stock of the western world with our reaction. Sex is nothing new of course, even the "alternative" stuff like S&M, B&D, & D/s has been going on for hundreds of years, it's just in our face now.
