It's called fishing for information.

I'm fairly certain that they are not stolen, but again, how do we really know?

Bah, I'll never understand why you get to a point where you add something totally unnecessary and plainly stupid to your posts.
How do we really know you're not a bearded woman in prison who hacked the library's internet access and is trying to get infos on how to break out reading this board or downloading Prison Break episodes, who's tracking our ips and will come to kill us in the darkest night asap?
Come on Atari...
back to some kind of "serious thoughts" about all this unnecessary fuss: I think that (and I also think this is true for most of the similar "arguments" atari, willingly or not, aroused <--not sure this is the right term --- in here) all relies in the different opinions about this board's users.
Some of us feel that some users on here are people that can be trusted, and in some cases (especially if/when you met someone in real life too) can be almost considered "friends", to an extent.
Seems to me that atari, even if I don't consider him a "hater" or whatever that "internet category" is called, maybe respects some of the other boarders, but ultimately "trust" near to no one.
So yeah, to each his own.
It's a matter of attitude, dudes!
