To be honest, I don't see what the big deal is. Radiohead are not that big of a deal. They write good, somewhat clever songs, that can get rather emotive. That's it. They're not the saviours of rock. But unfortunately, that's what Pitchfork et al has painted them out to be and it has caused a lot of detractors and critics to wag and point their fingers. Which saddens me. On a side note, SY were not exactly the critic's darling back in the day were they? Thurston Moore got into this argument with Robert Christgau over Kill Yr Idols. Apparently now, he's their biggest fan. Which is ultra ironic.
