It happened to me a few times to spot a young and pretty girl in a bar , looking sooo lonely , fragile , lost in a tough world , in desperate need of affection and protection...
And then , one hour later , the boyfriend arrives .
So if some guy has the idea to engage the conversation , I guess it would end like this:

Once I saw a girl who was probably really lonely , fragile etc , but maybe I didn't stay long enough.
