hmm.

thinking fellers union local # 282 - mother of all saints.
Just brilliant. Not my favorite album of all time, but the best album by one of the best bands of all time. Does that count?

cerberus shoal - mr. boy dog
Just brilliant.

gastr del sol - upgrade and afterlife
Life-affirming. With all the "freak folk" fans out there, it seems like this record would get more exposure. Not that it's particularly freaky, but it is really weird in parts -- and brilliant.

mermen - amazing california health and happiness show
Hmm.. prog surf? I guess that's the best way to describe it. Surf tunes that are long and complex and filled with psychadelic effects also. Wonderful.

sun city girls - horse cock phepner
After hearing 30+ Sun City Girls records, I can safely say this is my favorite. Hilarious and aweinspiring. Songs to make you laugh, cry, mosh, jack off, whatever. Just .. brilliant!
