not so much.

we had no idea it would be like this.

hell, I had my friend up from Dallas for the Dinosaur Jr show and didn't even bother telling him it MIGHT ice (they are so often wrong or overexagerative). he now has some sort of "disaster survival cred" with the people who knew he was here.

the electric company has STILL not removed my downed line so I can start fixing the rest and that really fucks me off.

I heard a guy on a cell phone yesterday talking about how his power is back on because he just "grabbed an OG&E (electric co.) guy" and they fixed him up. it made me SO pissed off because I can't get something taken care of that might burn down my shit.

to top it off, I have to fix my shower that broke on saturday so that I can drip the hot water line. it's going to snow 6" here tonite and get down to 18 degrees, so I'm worried my pipes might bust.

I'm tired, sore from sleeping in somone else's bed and stressed about doing all of this AND being ready for my father-in-law's wedding today.

XENU GRANT ME STRENGTH!!

PS: thanks to all for yr kind words.
