on top of it, i forgot, it's an x30, so i didn't come with a DVD drive-- so i had an external DVD on top of my desk, plus an external music hard drive, plus an external backup hard drive, a usb hub for a all stacked one on top of the other on my desk, wires all over.

but that's done-- i took over the video editing machine. it's got a mirrored system drive, a striped capture array, a 2.4ghz p4, 4 gigs of ram, over 2TB of storage total, a quadro vid card, a new samsung 22" widescreen, etc. sure it's one generation behind in processors but it's got *plenty *of power.

i'll keep the x30 for mobile porn.
