I've written as much very lately, but heavy metal and hard rock in general isn't exactly my biggest listening priority. At the same time, however, I am someone that loves and appreciates all types of music when done well.

On this note, I made a mix several months ago of live recordings with some metal content (mainly just the last two tracks). All are from soundboards except, I think, the Deep Purple.

01 Rolling Stones - Dancing with Mr. D Wembley Stadium London 11/09/73 (4:28)
02 AC/DC - Sin City Hammersmith Odeon London 11/02/79 (5:04)
03 Aerosmith - Lord of the Thighs Masonic Hall Detroit 4/14/74 (5:03)
04 Alice Cooper - I'm Eighteen LA Forum Inglewood, CA 6/28/75 (4:14)
05 Foghat - Slow Ride Wallingford, CT 11/18/76 (8:33)
06 Free - All Right Now Bracknell Sports Centre Berkshire, UK 10/14/72 (6:03)
07 Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water Stadhalle Bremen, Germany 9/18/74 (10:11) (audience)
08 Jimi Hendrix Experience - Wild Thing (erotic sacrifice) Monterey Pop Festival Monterey, CA 6/18/67 (9:48)
09 Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven Municipal Auditorium Mobile, AL 5/13/73 (10:32)
10 Judas Priest - Beyond the Realms of Death Calderone Long Island, NY 7/05/80 (7:09)
11 Ozzy Osbourne - Suicide Solution > Randy solo St. Denis Theater Montreal, QC 7/28/81 (8:35)

I can 'up' this.
