I really do feel sorry for the girl. She clearly has mental health issues, be that depression or something even more serious, and the constant attention of the world's media can't help that one iota. In a lot of cases you can justifiably say "oh, she courts the media attention", but in Britney's case I honestly don't think that's the case, it's just that the media these days seems to beleive that it has a right to report on every single aspect of a celebrity's life.
The media is the culprit here, not Britney, and if there is any "craziness" around it's on the part of society for lapping this crap up and perpetuating the media's belief that it is important.
