Zero - Australia will not become communist just because Rudd can speak mandarin. Also Australia's democracy is far to complex to be able to make a change to such a political system, which is proven not to work as well as democracy through the historical political systems. The labour party is not meant to be left wing, it is just another party in a two party political system, because it was born from the labour movement does not make it left wing. As far as I am concerned Australia should have embraced the Asian connection for day one because geographically we are an asian country.
