It's very difficult to pick just one Residents album to consider a "Classic album", so keep in mind that I'm only choosing this one because it's the most brilliant of their early recordings (of which you need all of). My personal favorite is "Duckstab/Buster and Glen"... However, that one may not blow your mind as much as this one..

How the fuck do I describe this? Uh.. Basically, it's two 20- or so- minute songs that "cover" old garage rock songs from the 60's into these huge medleys of odd riffs and weird voices. That's not the best description in the world, but it works. Essential listening...
