I've loved the Captain since around 87 when I picked up a TMR LP reissue on a whim. I'd just traded some records for cash at this record store, and they had TMR propped up on display on the counter. Just one copy. Used, I think. I took one look at the cover and just knew it was an album for me. The manager, who was kind of a jerk, said, "Ah, I just knew you'd go for something weird." Well, I'm glad I did. I'd heard of Doc and Ice Cream before, when they first came out, but I was buying so much other shit then that they kind of slipped away from me.

The Captain's easily in my top 5 favorites of all time.
