I even like Dwight Yoakam's cover of it.

Thanks for posting that you have the eighties covered, because I just got some time again and I would have sat here for twenty minutes racking my brain and googling away.

After writing those posts, I heard "Chantilly Lace" (no shit), "Sea of Love" (the original version and same one I mentioned), "Dancing in the Street" and "Blue Velvet" just today on one of the cable music stations I had playing in the background.

Hmm, sounds like "Funkytown" and "Superfreak" are gonna be songs you play. And good golly, are you gonna play "Careless Whisper" by Wham! or one of their other crap tunes? You'd be better off with George Michael solo doing "Faith," but I would probably even pass over that one as well. There's some real gold in my fifties, sixities and seventies lists. You would do best to take notice! haha
