same reason men work out to get large muscles "not in proportiojn" to their body. because the opposite sex likes it. (or at least a good number)
ask yourself what is "proportion"?
the whole of humanity comes in every possible size and arrangement. there are women out there with 42 inch busts (natural) and 30 inch butt with stick legs. there are women out there with tiny upper bodies and busts but huge pear shaped lower bodies.
there is no natural proportion.
